I ordered the new cover in advance of replacing the windows in the plane. So the windows just got done and I put the new cover on today for the first time. It fits very well and looks good! I felt bad retiring the old cover that you made some 6+ years ago, but it is starting to come apart at the seams and has survived two hurricanes, one tornado, Florida summers and Northeast winters. It is a great testimonial that it lasted this long!

I learned about aircraft covers via your articles in Aviation Consumer and subsequently purchased a Kennon cabin cover.  A year later, I bought an insulated engine cover for my Cessna 206. The workmanship and fit are outstanding. I want to compliment both Kennon and Aviation Consumer.
    The Kennon people were extremely friendly and helpful in customizing the engine cover with flap openings and attach points at no extra charge. However, the biggest surprise was a year after the purchase of the engine cover, I wanted another flap opening for the oil fill door and sent the cover back to Kennon with a credit card number to pay for the work. 
     The cover was returned two weeks later, work completed with no charge, just a note of appreciation for choosing Kennon. Unbelievable!

Just wanted to let you know I received my cover and as you probably know, it fits like a glove. I am really glad that I
paid a little extra to get the silk included. The only problem that I have is learning how to put it on when I am by
myself. I am like a one arm paper hangar. I am doing my best to try and keep it as clean as I possibly can. Surely there
is a trick to putting this on and taking it off by yourself. If you have any suggestions written up, I would like to read

Wanted to pass along a company that has great service - Kennon Aircraft Covers in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Based on input from Ralph Gutowski, I ordered a Symtec engine pre-heater from Kennon along with cowl intake covers that had the same type of pre-heater installed. These look like real quality units that are thermally
protected from overheating.

When I received the engine pre-heater, I found that it was not PMA approved for a Lycoming IO-360-L2C. I contacted Dawn at Kennon and with no questions asked, offered to return the engine pre-heater. She also contacted Symtec
and they called me to get more information on the engine I have so they can start the FAA paperwork for the L2C. It could take from 2-3 months to get FAA PMA approval, which does not meet my timeframe for putting on an engine
pre-heater.

I was so impressed with Kennon's service, I went ahead and ordered their custom sun screens even though I won't need them for several months. If you are looking for covers, engine heaters or sun screens, I would
suggest giving this company a try. They are on the web at http://www.kennoncovers.com

This may sound like a real sales pitch, but NO, I don't have any connections with Kennon. Just some really nice people that sells some good aviation products. I believe they may advertise in the Short Wing Piper News.

Although I do not hv the stuffsack note w/ me, I wanted to provide feedback to the person responsible for completing my a/c cover under order # 750.

Pls let her know that the cover fit perfectly. As I plan to use it as a rain fly whilst away from my hangar, I haven't has an opportunity to see it in action. Based upon the trial fit, I don't anticipate any problems.

(will let you know if any arise)

Separately, I hv rec'd several complements on the engine/prop/spinner covers I have been using inside the hangar. It has been a real time saver to be able to skip the pre-heat before my winter ops.
